:::.............................. DIANA JORDAN

Diana Jordan is an award-winning broadcast journalist, who is from New York City originally, and was graduated with High Honors with a BS in Journalism and Communication at the University of Florida. Then, she moved west - and has been anchoring drive-time news and reporting for commercial radio stations, including NewsTalk 750 KXL-AM and AM 860 NewsTalk KPAM in Portland. She also hosted a weekday afternoon drive woman's talk show on KRLA in Los Angeles, while commuting from Portland. And, she was News Director and Morning News Anchor on the CBS station, K-Lite 106.7 in Portland.

Diana is a nationally-known interviewer as well, having done interviews with thousands of authors, which could be heard on her daily BETWEEN THE LINES show on AP Radio Network and on the Barnes and Noble dot com website. She is also KATU-TV's Book Reviewer, appearing regularly on AM Northwest. Her author interviews and book reviews have appeared in the COSTCO CONNECTION, the PORTLAND TRIBUNE, and her non-fiction stories were published in two anthologies. Diana has also been doing speeches and seminars on "The Gentle Art of Interviewing", based on her diverse experiences. Naturally, she's working on a book right now, too.

Along with interviewing, hosting TV and radio shows, news anchoring and reporting, writing, and speaking, Diana is also a Podcaster, emcee, and she does on-camera and voiceovers.

A few of her favorite author comments:
  • Richard Carlson, Best-selling Author of the "Don't Sweat the Small Stuff" books:
    "You're one of the best personalities in the business and one of the best interviewers in the world."

  • Bill Maher, Author and TV Personality:
    "You are very good at what you do! Thank you for a wonderful interview and all you do."

  • Tess Gerritsen, Best-selling Author of medical thrillers:
    "Diana Jordan is pure high energy and an amazing force of nature. Being interviewed by her is like a double-shot of espresso. Not only does she jazz you up, she forces you to think."
